Orchestra RIGA invites you to a contemporary music program. Contemporary music by Latvian and American composers is represented in the concert. The central event of the concert – the world premiere – composer’s Rihards Zaļupe symphony for brass band “God. Love. Service”. Nic Gotham’s “Bacchanalia” will also be played, in which the orchestra will be joined by the saxophone quartet ATOMOS. Dana Wilson’s piece “To Set The Darkness Echoing”, originally written for a brass concert orchestra, will be played from the works of American composers, and will be played for the first time in Latvia. On the other hand, Eric Whiteacre’s “Equus” will be a show of real virtuosity.

Entrance to the concert with FREE INVITATIONS, which will be available from September 2 at the ticket office of “Biļešu paradīze” and on the Internet.
